Dette er rett og slett et lite lydinterface for iPhone-plattformen, parret med en versjon av IK's forsterkerplug-in Amplitube. Standard-versjonen (altså den som følger med interfacet) gir deg et Marshall-stack (lead-kanal) med 3 stomp-effekter og klassisk Shure SM57 mikrofonemulering. Selve interfacet har en standard jack-inngang for direkte tilkobling av gitar og bass, samt en hodetelefonutgang. iRig og softwaret har samme lave forsinkelse som du finner på en vanlig Mac, og dette er et utrolig morsomt øve- og jamme-verktøy. Hodetelefon-utgangen kan også tilkobles en liten mikser eller lignende, om du f.eks. ønsker å bruke Amplitube iPhone edition på en band-øvelse.
