34mm Gold-Sputtered Diaphragm
The large golden diaphragm provides accurate reproduction of even the subtlest sounds without sacrificing high-frequency performance. A gold sputtered diaphragm has a very thin layer of gold on its surface, which makes the surface a much better electrical conductor. The diaphragm remains very rigid, yet very agile in terms of being able to be quickly moved by small and/or sudden air movements (i.e. transients); and remains very efficient electrically, all of which are important for accuracy over a wide range of audio dynamics.
